World’s foremost experts in SCI is appointed chief science officer at InVivo

Invivo Therapeutics Holdings Corp., the leading developer in spine streatment technology, has just announced Dr. Edward Wirth will be the company’s new cheif science officer as of December 5, 2011.

Known as one of the world’s foremost experts in spinal cord injury (SCI) and regenerative medicine, Wirth will lead the first human clinical study for acute SCI using InVivo’s proprietary scaffold system without drugs or cells.
