Spinal Cord Injuries, regardless of type, can render someone feeling helpless and isolated when they begin to realize the differences between their capabilities now versus their previous lifestyles. Many times, people with spinal cord i njuries think that they will no longer be able to participate in the activities that once brought them so much joy. At Adventist Rehab, our focus is to always promote what the patient CAN do so that a “new normal” can be satisfying, rewarding and healthy as they get back to life.
